INTRODUCTION
Glen Leu Farmstay is located in Sumbuk, a sleepy hamlet in South Sikkim that’s just 100 kms (or a 3-hour drive) from Siliguri, West Bengal and a 40-minute drive from Namchi, Sikkim’s second-largest town. We are a family-run property, and have lovingly built this peaceful haven for those seeking to escape the stresses of city life and experience living on a farm, or to simply enjoy an outdoor getaway with family and friends.
The village, tucked into the mountain slope, with countless birds, butterflies and in close proximity to the Greater Rangit River and Kitam Bird Sanctuary, is an idyllic vacation destination, and a haven for bird watchers. Sumbuk is virgin territory, yet to be explored by nature-loving travellers, who truly enjoy simple living, close to mother nature in a village atmosphere.

Our History
Glen Leu Farmstay was named after the Glen Leu Farm, a nursery established by our family in the early 1930s.
Our Heritage
Located within the property is a colonial-style bungalow built as our family home more than 100 years ago.
Our Farm
Glen Leu Farmstay exists as a part of 15 acres of farmland where agricultural activities can be observed.

HOW TO REACH
Sumbuk is a 100 km drive from Siliguri which is well connected by air, rail and road.
It is 30 km from Melli Bazar, the entry point to South and West Sikkim from West Bengal and is 13 km above the Melli-Jorethang highway, from Manpur, which is the midpoint on this highway.
